We just got done deploying some additional features to the website. From our last post, we'd added a forum for people to conduct discussions and decided to link each vendor to have its own discussion. A user can now view a vendor's details and directly link to a conversation started exclusively about the vendor; we thought it'd help keeping vendor specific discussions in the same place.
That being done, we're seeing a moderate increase of traffic on the website. However, being entirely content driven, we can understand the appeal, or lack thereof, to a new visitor because of the relatively nominal amout of data currently on the website. On the same note, its the users that can make JVR a helpful place to be and if you are reading this, we'd really appreciate if you would help spread the word. The core objective of starting this site was to develop an easy to use and well laid out platform for reviewing vendors - to whatever extent we add functionality, it remains completely up to our users to make this an effectively valuable asset.
